ETHLETIC sneakers are made with 100% organic and Fair-trade certified cotton for the canvas upper and a natural rubber sole, which is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). This means that the rubber used has been sourced from responsibly managed rubber plantations and small farmers. In addition, their pioneering Fair Trade rubber projects pay a Fair Trade social premium for every kilo of rubber they purchase.  The rubber tappers decide how to use the additional income to improve their living and working conditions.
