This black slimline wallet/cardholder is made with cactus leather. This award-winning innovative material was developed in Mexico by a company called Desserto and was first showcased in October 2019 in Milan, Italy. It’s used in upholstery for furniture and cars, handbags, shoes and now belts!
Cacti require hardly any water to grow and can grow in the most infertile soil conditions where no other plants can. The specific type of cactus used for this material is the Prickly Pear (Nopal) cactus.
